Such lenses are more effective for application in photovoltaic modules for concentration of sunlight compare to the traditional point-focusing Fresnel lenses. The technical parameters of photovoltaic modules with these lenses were investigated. The method for manufacturing above lenses by diamond cutting technique and subsequent thermal pressing of silicone blanks is proposed. Some samples of specialized plane-focusing microprisms, which are made using our simulation results, have been experimentally investigated.
