Abstract. The effects associated with changes in the properties of a film heterojunction as a result of introducing a nanocluster subsystem into it are considered. Such a modified heterojunction exhibits spectral-inversion photovalve effect. A design of a photocell containing two series-connected opposite p-n junctions, photoactive in different spectral regions, is proposed.

Keywords: heterojunction, film, nanocluster, subsystem, properties, kinetics, irradiation, diffusion, photovalve effect.
