Abstract. Raman spectra of two ternary glasses of composition Ge 5 As 37 S 58 and As 4 Ge 30 S 66 have been investigated. An influence of addition of third element on the spectra of binary glasses has been studied by comparison with spectra of two binary glasses of composition Ge 33 S 67 and As 40 S 60 . Glass structure and phase separation effects are discussed.

Keywords: Raman scattering, chalcogenide glasses.
